Hospital and Hazardous waste

All hospitals, laboratories, medical and pharmaceutical test facilities as well as chemical companies generate hazardous waste which is required to be handled, stored and thermally treated in order to reduce contamination and risk of infection.

The waste stream generated in the above environments is always a mix of plastic, organic, liquid, surgical residue, card board, injection needles, tissues, etc. and due to this the Envikraft engineering team has developed a thermal treatment system which secure that all waste will be treated in order to reduce the risks of infection.

The thermal treatment of waste will generate heat which is obvious to re-utilize in the hospital and laboratories processes – either as hot water for cleaning or steam for sterilization thus securing financial savings.

Envikraft has designed and commissioned more than 150 hospital and hazardous waste treatment plants world-wide during the past more than 50 years.
